We recognize the importance of charitable giving. Our team participates in national and international ventures, dedicating time and resources for the betterment of communities.

Today, our philanthropic contributions range from education to healthcare to cultural causes that are near and dear to us. Polaris Capital works closely with five distinctly different organizations — but all have the same ultimate goal: to work with families and children in need. We would like to call attention to them and hope others may join in supporting these important causes. To briefly highlight the charitable giving endeavors undertaken by Polaris Capital and our professional team:

100 Women Who Care Boston has one collective mission: strengthen the Boston community through the power of collective giving. The 100 Women Who Care Boston chapter serves as a members-only circle of philanthropic women dedicated to amplifying the awareness and support of deserving non-profits in the local area. Since their inaugural event in May 2017,
100 Women Who Care Boston has awarded over $130,000 to 21 local non-profits.

AngelFlight charitable giving
Since Angel Flight Northeast’s first flight in 1996, mission coordinators have scheduled more than 45,000 flights and more than 1,000 volunteer pilots have flown nearly 10 million miles providing more than 60,000 patients and their families with free air transportation to medical care. Angel Flight schedules approximately 100 flights weekly for these courageous patients.

Boy Scouts of AmericaThe Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest values-based youth development organizations. The Boy Scouts provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

Greater Lawrence Family Health CenterFor 40 years, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has provided health care to the people of the Merrimack Valley, including full service comprehensive pharmacy services. The health center also provides addiction services, as well as health care to the homeless at 13 homeless shelters and through its two Mobile Health Units. In addition, GLFHC operates two school-based clinic-only sites at Lawrence High and Greater Lawrence Technical School. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, GLFHC has been a leader throughout the region in their response – providing more than 120,000 vaccines and conducting over 75,000 COVID PCR tests along the way.

Marine Corp Charity MC-LEF establishes a $35,000 educational account for every child who loses a parent serving on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, Navy Corpsman or as a Federal Law Enforcement Agent. Since its founding in 1995, MC-LEF has awarded over $91 million in educational accounts and other humanitarian assistance to over 4700 recipients.

Project RebirthProject Rebirth is the non-profit organization stemming from the feature-length documentary “Rebirth”. The film records the strength of the human spirit coping with disaster and the ongoing redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. Project Rebirth serves as a vehicle to promote the unique preparedness needs of first responders at the frontline of disaster recovery.

The Right Question Institute charitable givingThe Right Question Institute (RQI) is a non-profit educational organization offering strategies to help people in low- and moderate-income communities learn to advocate for themselves and partner with service providers/public officials. RQI’s methods are delivered through educational, health care, social service, community-based organizations and public agencies country-wide.

RockportMusic charitable giving
For over 30 years Rockport Music has been committed to one enduring purpose–enriching lives through great music. Located in the scenic seaport village of Rockport, Massachusetts, Rockport Music presents exceptional musical performances and events year round, including the acclaimed Rockport Chamber Music Festival.

SafePassage charitable giving
Safe Passage is a non-profit organization serving Guatemala City and aiming to bring hope, education and opportunity to the children and families living in extreme poverty around the City’s garbage dump. The program includes 550 children representing nearly 300 families in the surrounding neighborhoods.
